Sue Simmerman, PT, OCS, ScD

realPerformance Physical Therapy (formerly known as Cleburne Physical Therapy) opened in 1988 with Sue being the founding Physical Therapist. Her specialty has always been orthopedic physical therapy with emphasis on manual therapy and exercise.

"Following Aquatic Vertical Traction in Patient's with Persistent Low Back Pain." has been accepted for publication in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Journal 2011.

Steve Edwards PT, OCS

Steve has been a full-time Physical Therapist practitioner for 21 years. He has been part of Cleburne Physical Therapy Since 1994. His interests have always been in the area of sports medicine, manual therapy and medical exercise science.

Steve has received two Bachelors' degrees with the first in Physical Education from Texas Tech University. While at Texas Tech he had the opportunity to work as an assistant strength coach for the Texas Tech University Athletic Department. He decided to further his education and graduated from Southwest Texas State University with a Bachelor of Science in PHYSICAL THERAPY in 1990.

Matt received his undergraduate degree from Sam Houston State University Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2008. He graduated with his Master of Physical Therapy in 2010 from Angelo State University.

Janice Edwards, PT
Physical Therapist


Janice received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1991from Texas State University. She has worked with Cleburne Physical Therapy as the head of the aquatic therapy program since 1996. She has a strong interest in the application of aquatics therapy for all types of physical dysfunction including orthopedic and neurological problems.
