Sue Simmerman, PT, OCS, ScD
Physical Therapist, Founder

realPerformance Physical Therapy (formerly known as Cleburne Physical Therapy) opened in 1988 with Sue being the founding Physical Therapist. Her specialty has always been orthopedic physical therapy with emphasis on manual therapy and exercise.

Steve Edwards, PT, OCS
Physical Therapist, Owner

After graduation Steve advanced rapidly to a Direct of Rehab position in a local Hospital. He was introduced to and joined Cleburne Physical Therapy in the fall of 1994. His interests in sports medicine, manual therapy and medical exercise science has proven to be a great fit for the growing practice. 

Steve has received two Bachelors' degrees. He first graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Physical Education. While at Texas Tech he had the opportunity to work as an assistant strength coach for the Texas Tech University Athletic Department. He then applied to and was accepted into Southwest Texas State University Physical Therapy Program.

Janice Edwards, PT
Physical Therapist


Janice received her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 1991from Texas State University. She has worked with Cleburne Physical Therapy as the head of the aquatic therapy program since 1996. She has a strong interest in the application of aquatics therapy for all types of physical dysfunction including orthopedic and neurological problems.
